LWML Mite Boxes
The story behind the "Mite"
Jesus sat down opposite the place where
the offerings were put and watched the
crowd putting their money into the temple
treasury. Many rich people threw in large
amounts. But a poor widow came and put
in two very small copper coins, worth only
a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples
to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth,
this poor widow has put in more into the
treasury than all the others. They all gave
out of their wealth, but she, out of her
poverty, put in everything - all she had to
live on" (Mark 12:41-43).

Filling one of our Mite Boxes
(located at the back of the church)
helps us share the love of Jesus
with others. Our offerings help fund
the 1.7 million mission goal.....
Change really does add up!!                      *When filled return box to church office.

Mission News
SEND
As Romans 10:15 says "how can they preach unless they are sent?" The LWML is answering the call for "sending" by actively sending missionaries on a national level-specifically, they are supporting Andrea Herman, missionary to Guinea. Andrea is specializing in outreach to the Maninka people group in Guinea. In a thank you note written to the LWML, Andrea shared, "I am so honored that you have selected the outreach to the Maninka women of West Africa as one of your mission grant project for this biennium. I am thrilled to have the prayer and financial support of LWML women as I follow the Lord's call to serve them. I ask for your regular and specific prayers for these women who have become so dear to me in such a short time. I am reminded of the fact that their Creator loves them and wants them to know and love Him, even more than I wish that for them."
